i have a thinpad and when i turned it on today it says that some related to intel failed, "check cable". after the message windows starts normally. the problem is that now the battery isnt charging. ive had it plugged for a few hours and it still at stays 0%. as soon as i take out the charging cable it shuts off. i tried to turn it on a few minutes ago and now the message doesnt appear but still the battery isnt working.btw it was working yesterday.anyone know what could the problem be??

Do any indicator lights in the AC adapter and/or laptop come on to indicate that the power cord is plugged in? Is the batter fully and properly inserted? I'm guessing the Intel error had to do with a network cable being unplugged.

Oh. So I assume you've tried pulling the battery out and putting it back in, and checking the status of the battery in Device manager and ThinkPad software?
