hi guys i have a problem with lenovo cs. i had ordered the t61p WUXGA screen and with its delayed ship time and wat not... i had to cancel it and since i ordered 8-08-07 they wont let me return my mini dock and my corporate bag because its been over 21days and they dont accept returns after that. i called lenovo and the guys said i see you have cancelled your laptop but i cant take back your accessories (everything is unopened, closed with orignal packing tape.) the ediot transfered me to the save and support center.. and i started getting very angry at these ediots...when i asked for a manager they said they dont have one he said he can have some one call me back in 24 to 48 hours... PLEASE HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK!!! what should i do???? its $400 and im just a student i need money to buy books and pay for tuition.. lenovo BLOWS!!!!

I had to talk to 5 different CSR reps today to get a replacement HD shipped out to me under warranty, which I had ordered over a week ago. I was on the phone with the guy when he placed the order, and yet it somehow got lost in the system. I can understand glitches happening but why did I have to be redirected 4 times for someone to actually say "Sure, we have the part in stock, I don't see why you won't get it tomorrow if I go ahead and place the order again for you right now.." Reps #1, 3, and 5 were all Atlanta tech support, so it's not an issue of departments.
Edit: Yikes. Sorry for the derail. I would keep pushing, I guess the lesson to learn from my story is that you can eventually get what you want from Lenovo if you talk to enough people. You just have to find someone who's confident enough in their position to actually make the decision to help you. Some just don't know how to deal with unexpected situations other than "sorry, this is what the book says.." -

did they already charge you for it? i remember there was someone on here who ordered LoJack and a dock with his laptop then ended up canceling his order, but they never charged him for it, so he got them for free

Did you order the dock and the bag with the system, or as a seperate purchase? If its a seperate purchase, I can understand why you can't return it.

I'm in the process of returning the laptop myself. Fortunately didn't buy any accessories before laptop arrived. You could try to dispute the charge with credit company explaining them the case although Lenovo could fire back with collector's agency. -
I hear you. I'm currently in a dispute, they have treated me terribly too.
You need to file a dispute with your credit company immediately. You should still be within the window, but just barely.
Also file a complaint with the BBB. You can do this online.
Do this now, don't wait. -

I've purchased two Lenovo laptops.
Both got delivered within a week after the order placement date.
I've returned one of those for pure "customer satisfaction" reasons, nothing to do with Lenovo.
Got a refund after two weeks.
I've gotten nothing short of superior service from Lenovo so far. -

Can someone please enlighten me about MonsterMaxx? I am sure I saw a thread where he had been banned. But it seems he has been 'unbanned' again. I personally read and responded to a post where he was unreasonably aggressive towards another NBR member (calling names and using foul language) and I assumed this was the final drop that made the moderators ban him. Does anyone know why/how he got unbanned? -

I know how bad you got screwed over... what did you do in situation and have you heard anything back? did you just file cc dispute.." saidly i just paid my amex bill a week ago with the lenovo charge.. i hope their on the consumer side!!!
