    Hi,
I accidentally spilled some water on the bottom right corner and keyboard of my lenovo L412 :( , but I've done two dumb things, I didn't realize that the water was spilled and didn't shut it off immediately and rather when i lifted to see whether there was any water spilled I saw the full extent of water penetration and the system shut down itself. The second dumb thing I did was as I had to get back to work so I turned it on within 10 mins (It worked but the screen flickered and went on and off) and realized there was still some water in it and shut down and removed the battery. I waited for it to dry for an hour and then tried again but this time It doesn't start, The power led glows and I can feel the fan spinning but that's it, nothing else happens.

Please suggest  me what to do :( I am scared to hell.

    any help is Highly appreciated.

An hour isn't going to be enough time to dry it. A lot of people put it in a zip lock bag with rice for days to soak up the moisture.

You don't have accidental warranty, right?

Try to take it apart and let it dry a day or two.

Come to Arizona for a day : ) and chill out at the airport for couple of hours and you should be good to go~
Actually I would use some hair dryer and blow right on the spill spot.

I read somewhere in other threads that you shouldn't use a hair dryer as it makes water penetrate even deeper into the machine  any ways thanks for the info :)

hair dryer is the best thing to use right now. Just use it circular pattern and put in medium heat.
