    help me please, the strange noise on z61m!

    HI everyone, i've got my z61m for one week, everything goes very well with it when it is on electricity power mode, very quiet!!! but, as soon as i swith it on battery power, a high-pitched whining/buzzing/digital noise occurs, especially at the far left corner ,really annoying! It sounds like a dot-matrix printer. it occurs when i put(i just put my finger on it and do nothing!!) or move my finger on the touchpad, it becomes sharper at the moment i open and close a certain program, such like words, wmp or adobe etc. i suppose this noise is from the cpu 'cause it occurs gererally at the moment i have a contact with the lappy and it can be heard especially at the far left corner(where the cpu is).

    any eles z61m owner has the same problem? anyone can help me to get rid of this noise?

    any feedback will be highly appreciated!

    the problem is resolved!!!
    i just disable the power management of the cpu!!!
    anyone can tell me the reason in detail please?

    Did you update to the latest BIOS and the latest version of the power management software?

    it is in the BIOS that i disabled the fonction of the power management of cpu.
    and i will update my BIOS soon!
