I've searched this forum, and didn't find what I was looking for.

I clean installed, but before I deleted my recovery partition. So now I have Vista on 87 GB and 6 GB of unallocated space. The built in partitioning tool will not let me merge the two spaces. It's ok, I'll shrink the 87 and combine the leftover with the 6.

First of all, Vista's Disk management only lets you shrink up to a certain point. I want Windows on 40 GB, but it only lets me shrink it to 50.

Basically, all I want to know how to do is:
    Vista: 40
    Linux: 20
    Other: 33

Anyway to do this without reinstalling Vista again?? Any software that will help me?

Yes, you could use the freely downloadable GParted for Windows.

HTH (and if it does, please acknowledge that with some "rep power" :))
