    I am looking at getting a t400 to replace my dell e6400. I have a sierra wireless wwan card in my laptop now that is not a dell card it is direct from sierra. Question will this card work in the T400 or does Lenovo lock the WWAN slot just to the cards Lenovo sell?

    lenovo does lock, not only wwan, but also wlan and so on

    Really, wow that is sucky so there goes the lenovo for me. Wifi Doesn't matter but I need to get that WWAN in there.
