Hello,
So you have no partition on your HDD?
If it's so, then you had no chance with the tools you have to restore to factory-image, 'cause the image was deleted.
The only way, except you order the backup-dvd's from lenovo, is, that you download a windows home premium iso, burn them on a dvd or "burn" an usb-stick with and make a clean install.
You activate windows with the key,you find on the bottom of your laptop and install the drivers with the clean-install guide/driver install guide found already here.
Then you install the rapiddrive tool and every should go fine.
That's just a small overview for your problem, if there is no partition on your hard drive.
Hope i could help you.
Nice Greetz,
Markus
PS: I've found a thread that may can help you more: How to restore OKR-funktion
There is a way, what is equivalent with your situation. -
i saw that thread
does the partition the okr disc create include all the drivers and software from lenovo
cause i did a clean install with win 7 ultimate and some things i cannot install cause it says it can only be installed from on a lenovo computer such as bb optimizer
also ther are other lenovo things that are not available from lenovo driverspage such as veriface and onekey theatre
so using the guide on the thread you refernce to me will that include all the drivers and thing from lenovo in the ppartitions it makes?? -

Hello,
No.Sry. In my opinion the OKR disc's don't install the drivers and software from lenovo.
When you do a clean install you had to reinstall all the drivers of your own.
I had done a clean install yesterday and i don't got any message saying, that it can only be installed on a lenovo laptop.
I put with the programm regedit only the "lenovo oem logo" in the systeminformations.
That's all i did.
If you want to try it, then copy the oemlogo-file to
C:\Windows\System32\
and make the .reg-file:
Code:Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OEMInformation] "Logo"="c:\\windows\\system32\\oemlogo.bmp" "Manufacturer"="Lenovo" "Model"="Lenovo Win7 PC" "HelpCustomized"=dword:00000001 "SupportURL"="http://consumersupport.lenovo.com"
Change filetyp from ".txt" to ".reg"
Dobbleclick it and Accept with Yes.
Maybe that's the reason i've got no message while my clean driver install.
OneKeyTheatre and VeriFace i can upload for you, if you want it.
Can you write your last question again?
Hope to help you.

Hello,
On the D-Drive,where Lenovo stored the drivers and Software-".exe"s, there are only the drivers for the hardware and
programms:
- Adobe Reader
- ReadyComm
- VeriFace
- YouCam
That's all i get for my Y580.
If you install this all you had all you "need" from the stuff that lenovo installed on the windows what comes with.
In my opinion all the other stuff is useless.
But maybe you can try to get the other software by searching the lenovo website.
Nice Greetz,
Markus -
ok can you post em up for me
-
Markus from Autria Notebook Enthusiast
Hello,
Yes.What do you need?
'But remember, that you are "faster" when you download the driver from lenovo.com.
There you only had to choose which model of the laptop you had (Y580) and then you had your drivers.
Here the link: Lenovo Support Page
Nice Greetz,
Markus -
well the lenovo site has
Audio driver
Bios Update
Bluetooth driver
Camera driver
Jmicro card reader driver
Intel chipset driver
intel management engine interface
hotfix
atheris lan driver
lenovo energy management
onekey recovery
intel rapid start technology
intel rapid storage technology
tv tuner driver
touchpad driver
usb 3 driver
nvidia video driver
intel graphics driver
intel wimax driver
intel wireless lan driver
so i need whatever isnt availabe from their site
veriface, onekey theatre, bb optimizer and anything else
thanks -
please can you post up the drivers

Hello,
Sry for my late answer.
lockkey: KLICK
Onekeytheater: KLICK
ReadyComm: Klick
VeriFace: Klick
YouCam: KIick
The PowerDVD you can find in the Y580 Owners Thread when you search for it, but here the link: KLICK
The Lenovo EE Boot Optimizer was not on my D-drive so i searched the lenovo page for the "IN8STW15WW5.exe" mentioned in the clean install thread.
I found the exe then and the link for it is: KLICK
Hope i had helped you.
Nice Greetz,
Markus -
no problem
thanks for your help really appreciate it
another thing what are the other programs that come with it
thanks again -
Markus from Autria Notebook Enthusiast
I hope that you do it (appreciate). ;-)
In my opinion you don't need the other programms, 'cause there are only a test period of it and after this you had to buy them.
So all programms, that could be useful i've listed above.
If you want to know the programms regardless, you have to ask another person,'cause i've already formated my Lenovo and i don't could remember what was installed on it before.
Hope to help you.
