    Can you guys tell me the best specifications that i can build on thinkpad T400 with the my budget $900 max. I am going to use this laptop for college so basically school work and light gaming. Hopefully the final price will be less than $900 with tax and shipping. I plan to use a coupon too. Thanks

    Try getting it from your college if they still bundled ThinkPad purchases with academic orientated software AND (to me) an indispensable 3 year warranty to give you peace of mind that your ThinkPad can complete your degree with you. If you can afford to, shell out a bit more and upgrade to ThinkPad Protection. It's worth it given that your ThinkPad gets handled and moved around a lot and you'll be using electrical sockets that may not be device friendly.
