i have it on max bright 15

whenever i open a full screen remote desktop session and looking at the screen of another server.. my screen dims slowly and colors get washed out..

if i minimize the remote desktop.. it slowly comes back to normal

is there a auto dim function on the x201 that i dont know about?

    thanks for any help

I think there is auto-regulation of the brightness when you boot into windows at the time when the power scheme kicks in. I don’t know about the remote session, though. Could it be that a different power scheme is set for the remote session?

Try opening Intel Graphic's Properties->Power->Power Features and turn off Display Power Saving Technology
