    hey guys...

i'm going to purchase LENOVA T400 in Los Angeles. and would i get more discounts off in a store or just order online and just waiting for it?

and is there any chance that i can get the 10% off coupon over T400? i tried the code in lenove rescource center, but it wasnt valid for the order so i gave it up.

your help would be extremely appreciated. getting discounts off is alwasy better than getting it with full price.

    thanx!

The only stores that I know that have the Thinkpad machines are Office Depot, MicroCenter and some university bookstores. Neither Office Depot or Microcenter are near where I am, so I am not sure how they are priced in stores, but I think that you might be able to get the best prices online. With Lenovo you need to wait for the right time and you can get great deals online. They are always running coupons, so wait for a bit to get one if you can.

I know that the UCLA bookstore stocks Thinkpads at a decent price (that is where I got my T40). However, you will be limited to the education configurations (not usually a bad thing), and you may need to be a student/staff/faculty (although I am not sure how they verify this). I would suggest giving them a call and asking what they have in stock and at what prices.
