    i will going off to Georgia Tech next year for college, fall of 2006, i was looking at purchasing a t60 laptop, but i was just wondering if there was a student discount. Or are the discounts provided by IBM is always through the school itself as opposed to being independently used?

    They have student discounts through IBM, but not on the T60, I believe.

    You can get a discounted T43 or Z60m/t etc.
