You. You chickened out and got the T60 remember? You also defended SkiBunny the T61-flamer.

    Yes, but last I heard 61 - 1 = 60.

I'm not claiming anyone here, however in my time spent at this board, I've seen several people proclaim the entire company and product line worthless, simply because they're having problems with their computer.

    Heheheheh.

    I can't wait to get my T61.

    :)

    So?

It's stupid and immature! The VERY thing you claimed Johnny was being (immature, anyways).

Like Johnny and I have been trying to explain this evening, simply because 1, or 5, or even 20 systems are reportedly having problems (out of what? 4 million sold a year? I believe that's what the former IBM Shenzhen plant is rated for), does NOT mean the ANY company, or in this case, Lenovo, is worthless.

I could see if the entire line had some massive recall, then yes, I'd say there was something wrong, but the numbers we are seeing here.

It's CALLED generalizing. You see or hear something, and then decide, ON YOUR OWN PERSONAL FACTS, NOT THAT OF AN INDEPENDENT THIRD SOURCE, that the product or company is null.

It's basically the same thing as stereotyping. I'm part-Middle Eastern, but does being Middle Eastern by default make me a terrorist? NO.

In saying that, like I and Johnny have before, just because some of the products from a company have problems does not mean that the entire company or product line is null. That's, like I said before, generalization.

I'm not even going to release that information to you because you'd bring up the shipping problems that Lenovo had been having.

    GENERALIZATION FTW!!!

Come on guys. Let people make their own decisions. So what if a few of us decided not to buy a T61, big deal. If the rest of you think that it's not a good decision, then fine, you are free to buy a T61. Why does someone have to be wrong and someone right? I'm sure not all of us drive the same brand car. Same thing here.

I've seen one too many negative posts about the T61 for *MY* liking. So I got a T60. Doesn't mean all T61s are crap. And if you want a T61, good for you. I hope you'll be happy with it.

The following two posts prove my point perfectly.
Each has incorrectly interpreted my comments introducing multiple logical fallacies in the process.

Oh, and johnny, please quote my "conclusions" that you think are "incredibly stupid and biased".

There are some great comments in these forums and some valuable information can be gleaned from them. But as this thread proves, one must be careful to weed out the childish, immature crap.

I have no idea how you read that I was talking about your conclusions being stupid and biased. I was very clearly referring to unhooked. Talk about incorrect interpretations. Hypocrite.
