    how accurate are their shipping dates?

    on 4/7/10 i purchased a t510. it said 4+ week delay, so i am guessing it would be shipped beginning of may. est ship date is 05/31/10

    how accurate are these usually? 2 month wait is a loooooonnnnggg time

    Lenovo shipping date is inaccurate on most accounts, and they can give you a long ETA, but it could ship within 2 weeks.

    Actually, for some people the opposite has happened; they started with a reasonable ETA, but the date got pushed back one or more times and ended up taking much longer than expected.

    i guess this is why Lenovo is giving a long ETA instead, in order not to push back the delivery dates.

    My ETA was very inaccurate for my T500, it shipped 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule. So, short answer is, not very.
