    Download this program and look under hardware > diplay monitors. Note the model number under Manufacturer. Then post that number back here or google it to get your answer.

    LGs are some variation of LP141WX1. Don't know what Samsungs are.

    We have the same FRU number which I couldn't google it.
    I bet this is a LG LCD because it is very bright! I only set it to 6/10 on brightness.

    I don't think the FRU number means anything with regards to the manufacturer.

    yes it does . if you go to the address mentioned above then you can match your FRU # with the manufacturer. My keyboard FRU # is alps.

    I guess my keyboard is nonexistent, because the part number on my order doesn't match anything on lenovos site.

    you dont use the part number on the order, what you have to do is goto the link shown and enter in your serial number. Once you do that, you can obtain the fru number for your screen and that number will tell you which mfg made it
