    how do I check whether my display driver is installed?

    i have lenovo t500 windows 7 64
    when i go to display setting it says :
    display : "mobile PC display"
    ??

    In Device Manager (right click on Computer and choose Manage) expand the Display Adapters and you should see your card info.

    i went to device manager and under the monitor tab there it says :"generic pnp monitor- is that what it suppose to be?

    Probably not. If you run Lenovo Updates and Drivers from Thinkvantage Tools or from the Control Panel, it should recognize that the driver needs installing and offer to do it for you.

    okie now drivers are installed
    u can only install it manually!
