just about to order one with my order of the t61... looking to get another 2 gb

Any PC2-5400 667MHz SODIMM modules will do. I use OCZ and have no problems.
-
PC5300 is fine. Its the same as PC5400, only PC5400 costs more because its a marketing scam with numbers.
-
Where are you planning to buy them from? Maybe we can link you to the right product.

heh didnt realize its a scam...but yeah 5300 and 5400 are pretty much interchangeable. And ram prices never made sense to me...you can buy pc-6400 for cheaper than pc-5300/5400. And for all intents and purposes they make no difference which you use.

looking to buy it anywhere cheap and reliable.... could you post some suggestions ..
Im getting the t61 with a 1gb 1 dimm..how much should i get? -
Newegg.com
Look under laptop memory, then choose any PC25300 DDR2667. Get the one with the most reviews, highest rating, cheapest price.
Usually Gskill. I just ordered 4GB of it myself for $85.
