Is there a 30 day non-dispute return policy?
I am getting tired of this fan noise and noise under palm rest and thinking perhaps I should return it.
My question is:
will the tax be returned?
is there an extra fee charged for return shipment?
Perhaps I should get a T42P with 15" flexview screen, do you guys have any idea where to get it from lenovo?

As I recall, the policy is now 21 days. And, I don't think you can get the T42 straight from Lenovo anymore since it's been discontinued.
I doubt tax or shipping will be returned. Loud fan noise isn't exactly a reason I think Lenovo would be willing to give that back to you. -
Just call them. You might want to consider running it in low power mode which may help with the fan noise.

I need to return mine too. The super high resolution on my Z61m 15.4 widescreen is resulting in super small fonts so I'm squinting all the time. It's also alot heavier than I thought it would be. I will be walking around and taking the subway in NYC with a suit on, and after doing that today with the Z61m, dang it's heavy.
Should I call the sales rep that sold it to me at Lenovo, or a different number?
Thank in advance for your help. -

Can I say it was too heavy and I didn't like the tiny resolution on the 15.4 screen? -
When I returned my z60m, I told them I was waiting for the Core Duo to be released in the Z series (this was in April/May). I don't think they really care what reason you give them actually. -

Yes. You get an RMA and a full refund if you ship it back in the original box. You probably have to pay the shipping youself unless you make a good case on why you return it.

They will give you an RMA number you have to write on the box when you ship it back. I shipped it back UPS ground and paid $20-$30 becuase I insured it for $1500. I remember it took about 10 days to have my credit card refunded after IBM/Lenovo received the computer. -
how do you return your machine?
