just ordered an x200 today. i have an old school hp desktop w/ a pentium 4 @ 2ghz and 1gb of ram. the x200 i spec'd out today has a 2.4ghz c2d and 3gigs of ram. now, i know the answer looks pretty obvious, but will i see any significant increase in snappiness when running programs like ie, itunes, adobe photoshop/premier, and autocad?? thoughts?

The X200 will blow you away. My old 2.6ghz p4 system was slow as hell, in some ways slower than my 1.7ghz celeron m notebook. As long as you picked a decent HD you should be pretty impressed.
