    lf l didn't hate the looks of the ibm (the keyboard/touchpad area; not the outside) then l would buy that in a heartbeat.

    l thought that the z60m came with the x600?

    I think if you configure it yourself and use some sort of discount (student , shareholder purchase program or something like that) you can configure a better system for the same price...

    IMO, I'd skip titanium lid and go for better graphics and processor.

    ....it sounds like a good deal to me. It's about the same system that I got in early January with my Realtor discount except that mine came with a free leather case instead of the titanium. I would like to see the titanium. I like my black but it does show fingerprint smudges. I imagine that the titanium color and the non-plastic surface would not show fingerprints so easily. I would recommend that you get the leather case for $29. The leather case makes a good appearence and provides extra good protection.
