    how long on hold before you reach a representative?

    How long does one have to wait on hold to reach customer service?
    How long do e-mail replies generally take?

    What time/day of the week are you calling? There are "high volume" days and times.

    12 minutes on hold isn't bad. I guess. At least the rep was quick to answer my question and friendly.

    it depends what time you make the call. If you call at around 8-9am (central) you may just need to hold for around 20-30mins. But if you call at around 1-2am, you may need to hold for around 30-40mins. If you call at around 4-5pm, you may need to hold for around 40-50mins.

    I tried all these time, more than once, my experience tells me it would be better to call in the early morning.

    around 4-5 days. They will work in the weekend.

    The trick to getting in right away is to start calling right at 8:55, when you get the message they are closed, hang up call again and so on.

    You usually get in a few minutes before nine and there is no wait at all. I plan my day around my sessions with Scott. LIE sessions, I like to call them.

    i talked to them today around 11 am.
    surprisingly 6 minute wait time

    I've tried three times this week, from California, during regular business hours.

    The first time, I hung up after 67 minutes without getting through.

    The second time was 55 minutes without getting through.

    And the final time was 46 minutes without getting through.

    After five Thinkpads, I'm now looking for an alternative. If they can't answer the phone to sell them, it doesn't auger well for any kind of technical support.

    First call in the morning, waited for 45-50 minutes before I hanged up. Second call, about an hour later, waited for 50 minutes before someone answered. Another day before this, didn't wait for that long. But in every case, the rep was very unkind.
    (By the way, do they have female reps? All the reps that answered my call were male)
