    how to boot from External USB DVD w/ X200

    how do i boot from a cd or USB drive from my x200? i never did this before

    It should be in the bios. And most computers have a quick boot option during startup so you don't have to go into the bios.

    Press F12 during bootup should take you to the Boot up device screen.

    even if i dont have a built in DVD drive? it will give me the option to boot from USB-storage device OR USB-Optical device?

    As long as you plug in the USB device BEFORE you enter the BIOS it should show up and you can select it in the boot device priority.
