i have a t400 with a vga output (the blue output). I want to be able to connect to a big screen tv and play videos off it. The TV only takes av video cables. Is there a cable I can use? Specifically something like a best buy would carry??

You will need an ACTIVE scan converter (info). This will convert VGA into Component, S-Video, or composite (depends on the model). There will be some loss in quality, but that is unavoidable.

Best Buy may carry something like this, but I doubt it. Radioshack is probably your best bet for local, but I would recommend ordering online (like this one from DealExtreme).

You will also need a 1/8" stereo mini-jack to RCA (red/white) converter cable if you want sound from the TV speakers ( like this one).
