I have an R60 with the recover disks. How I do perform a custom reformat? I tried to recover your system and restore factory settings. After that, it restores the system without asking what software I want to install and not. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Thanks,
    Greg

Does the Recovery CDs that I paid $50 for count? If not, I have an extra Windows XP Pro laying around

If you have an extra Windows XP and you are willing to invest some extra time then it is a cleaner option. But then you need to install drivers and Programs by hand. Most can be downloaded from the Support homepage. Might want to download them before hand since you need them to get the wireless working.
