    how to improve boot time speed

    it takes too long for my t61 to settle down. around 5~7minutes
    any solutions for this?

    t7300 2.0 core 2 duo
    1gig ram

    i guess it's vista on it? get more ram.. and a faster harddrive.

    besides that, use ccleaner or similar to clean up the crap that makes booting slow.

    I'll add that you can go into MSCONFIG and cancel some of the processes that run at start up as well.
