I remember reading somewhere that keeping it charged at 40-60% helps since keeping it at full charge is apparently detrimental to the battery's health?
But I forget how to do that! So can anyone help me with that?
Any other suggestions to keeping my battery alive as long as possible would be great as well. Thanks!

Use ThinkVantage's Power Manager to set charge thresholds.

40% is ideal storage charge.

You could add an UltraBay Battery, It is about 130$ and would add 1h15 to your unpluged computer experience. I had this problem before with my t61. Could never get to the end of a class, after 2 hours the computer would beg for an electric outlet... Not I can last about 3h30. Hope this hlep

I use my computer exclusively on AC. With the 6 cell battery installed. Am I also affecting my battery longevity?
Thanks! -
