    how to set the default screen brightness level for Thinkpad T61

    I am pretty happy with the screen brightness of T61, and actually I feel the default brightness level is a little bit too bright for me. I used keyboard to adjust the screen brightness to a lower level. However, whenever I shut down the laptop and reboot it, the screen brightness level goes back the orginal highest level :confused: how can I set the default brightness level?thanks~~~~

    Power Options->Adjust Display Brightness
    Can adjust based on which plan you are using.

    If you're running Vista and have all of Lenovo's stuff still installed, double click on the battery bar in the task bar and change the brightness settings of the power profiles.

    Standard Vista is in control panel or right click on the power icon in the taskbar.
