I want to install 2nd hdd with ultra-bay adapter III. After I put my WD Scorpio into adapter and plugged it in, it got recognized as a new hardware and that as far as it went. I'm running XPP. Any suggestions what to do next? Thanks!

Open disk manager and make a new partition.

You have to make a new partition on the new drive. You can do that from the Disk Management pane of the Administration Control Panel. I dont remember how to do it off the top of my head for xp, so I can't be more specific.

    Edit: Beaten to it.
