I would say the best way, if your TV has an HDMI input (which it should) would be to get a DisplayPort to HDMI converter, and then get an audio cable that connects from your headphone jack to the TV.
I haven't done this myself, since I already have a desktop hooked up to my TV, but that's the best way to get audio and digital video to your TV, for a minimal cost. -
the headphone jack to tv cable-can u gimme a link on ebay that have this kind of a cable?
thanks! -
The next best way is to use a VGA cable:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812105803
And the audio jack:

or buy the audio jack from your local Best Buy for $5.
THIS ALL ASSUMING YOUR TV HAS THE CONNECTIONS. -
what is better- connecting the t500 with displayport to hdmi cable?
or to get a displayport to hdmi convertor and than connect with hdmi to hdmi cable?
and if you could gimme a link of a quality cable worth buying from ebay..
thanks!!! -
Quality cables?
http://www.monoprice.com . I've bought all my home theater cables there, at a fraction of what it'd cost to get them locally. HDMI, component video (including my Nintendo Wii component adapter), etc., they've got it. -
thanks~!!
and what about my first question?
and what about this : http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10428&cs_id=1042801&p_id=4826&seq=1&format=2
is that a quality convertor? -
