I am just about to submit my order for a new T420 but i had one quick question about the CPU. There is a $7 dollar upgrade between my two configurations. What is the difference between these two models. As far as i can tell every spec is the same except for the model number. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Thanks for the link but you compared the wrong ones. But the link helped me fine the difference. Just the difference in the turbo frequency by 100Mhz.

    Thanks again

There will be no noticeable difference outside of benchmarks, but for $7, I'd go with the upgrade. If you ever resell down the road, people do like to see larger numbers ;)

    $7 is a no brainer,
