I recently got a new laptop, and used itunes.com's method of using your actual ipod to move your music library to your new computer. It worked perfectly, and I could listen to all of my music on my new laptop.

Then I had to return my laptop for a new one because the right clicker didn't work at all. So I tried to move my itunes collection in the same manner as before, and I t woked for the most part. My library foldr with every song file is now on my laptop (like before) but unlike before Itunes isnt displaying the music.

I went into the advanced setup and set the folder to my library folder but still no songs show up on itunes. I could manually go through and click every song file, but that would take forever. I don't know whyit worked on the other laptop but not this one, it is the exact same laptop, and it was done in the same manner. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

You will lose all of your playlists, but you can add all of the songs on your computer and make a new library folder.
