    Hi,

    This is my first post here. I need help whether this laptop(used but in great condition) worth buying for 250$ including shipping. Here are the seller brief description of the laptop:

    #IBM Lenovo ThinkPad T500 Laptop Core 2 Duo, P8400 2.26GHz 160gb hd 2gb ram

    What do guys think? Should I buy it for this price and the features? I am not into gaming but I want to watch HD videos on it. are screen and GPU good for that? Thanks.

    Depends. What screen does it have (the CCFL 1680x1050 screen is by far the best of the 3 options)? Does it have the discrete switchable Radeon 3650M, or Intel integrated only? Which battery does it come with?

    I have the t500 with the 3650 and the high rez screen. Its a good computer. Decent speakers, monitor colors are a little darker than normal i think so i wouldnt recomend it for graphic design, the screen isnt the brightest so only really good in certain lighting conitions, and it boots a little slow since the hard drives are a little on the slow side. I would for sure bring it up to 4 gigs of ram.
