recently my t42 crashed. it would start and hang with a blank screen. So i used the restore button and got it to factory settings. But after formatting the hdd when the computer restarted i plugged in my ipod. As soon as i plugged in the ipod the notebook shutdown. Then i had to press the power button to switch it on again. Since then there is no audio device and no usb ports on the laptop. Also i went to the BIOS, where under Config there is no AUDIO. I used the restore button again but no luck. I also tried to install the audio drivers but i get a error " Device not found, reboot and try again". And if i plug anything in the USB port there is simply no response.
