i was interested in the U260 until i saw the battery life being terrible on it. does anyone know if there will be a refresh (hopefully with SB improving battery life), or is there another 11.6"-12.5" alternative i should check out?

Thinkpad X220? Maybe that is a good alternative?

thanks, i like most things about it, but i'm not a fan of the thinkpad design. i like the y460 design also, but 14" is the smallest form available and it's a bit out of my budget

How about the thinkpad edge e220s. Or the s205.
