If you choose not to have the fingerprint reader, what's there in its place? No way do they have a smooth version for those who don't get it, but what do they fill the hole with? Just plug it with plastic or something?

Similar for those who don't want a camera?

I think there are two versions of the palmrests, one with a hole cut out for the fingerprint reader, the other doesn't.

    They are different pieces.

As furrycute said they have two versions of the palmrest and also two versions of the screen bezel.

If you do not have the fingerprint reader there will be nothing there, just a smooth normal palm rest all the way accross, same goes for the cameraless model.

    Nice, thanks.

Have it on my z60m, but could take it or leave it this time around. Just figured if there's going to be an eyesore there instead I might as well get it.

The finger print reader doesnt replace the password. You can type your password like normal if you dont want to use the finger print reader.

It also doesnt change anything about guests accounts or accounts with no password.
