Hello,
I was wondering if the z60 is the only lenovo with integrated mic and webcam, as I would much rather go with the T series or maybe even with a 3000 N100

-
I have the 3000 N100 and it has an integrated webcam. No mic though.
-
yeah I think I saw that it has the webcam but I didnt know about the mic, the mic is very important to me. Thanks for your answer.
-
T60 has no option for integrated webcam. They all (T60's) come equipped with an integrated mic though.
-
I'm still trying to figure out how to testdrive my webcam. I cant find how to use it.
-
Z61t have integrated mic and webcam too. I think that is the one who still being offered in Lenovo USA website.
-
The integrated cam/mic work great on my z61t with Skype. No echo or feedback at all. I got the Lenovo USB webcam when I ordered the notebook and that does seem to be a little bit better than the integrated one...mostly just a little less lag.

You can always go with a seperate webcam, most of them aren't that expensive or obtrusive. Logitech also makes one (and probably is the maker of the Lenovo one) that has its own case and headset too
-
i've got both on my n100 - I would think it would be quite odd to have a webcam without a mic - my mic is located to the right of the wifi/BT/battery/sleep lights on the bevel...anyway
kingofspades - two free programs that give access to the webcam: skype has a test my webcam, and it is working in vista for me; GIMP has an acquire from peripherals, which you can access the webcam through, but i haven't tried this on vista yet. HTH -
does the n100 have a port for a mic or an integrated mic? you make it sound like its just a port
-
the t61 appears to have a webcam based on the pictures, but it wasn't stated specifrically in the specs.
-
yeah I couldnt find it either in the specs thats why I came here to ask
