:) Hi everybody. you've got a great community here.

i'm living in israel, and i would like to use a good and reliable international online
store where i could buy a new x220t and deliver it to my country. also, i need it to support international credit card payment. do you have any recommendation?

Did you take into consideration the shipping cost to Israel + insurance + 16% Israeli VAT ?

did you check out the Israeli shipping services? ezbuyus and etc? I think you'll find them much cheaper than online US stores.

if you think it may still be cheaper to import after the taxes etc, you can use an american express card to order from the lenovo store or amazon checkout to order from the lenovo outlet, and sign up for a mail forwarding service to ship it to you

    thanks, ColMaki and afhstingray.

unfortunately, to buy it from israeli reseller is much more expensive.
but what about the lenovo warranty? is it international?

It depends on the model but most standard ThinkPads are IWS eligible which means regardless where you bought it, since Israel has a Lenovo repair centre you can get it serviced locally rather than having to ship back to the country of origin.

also outlet laptops are not IWS eligible, but their prices are often half that of what you pay if you order from the main lenovo site
