I've been having annoying issues with my internet connection dying when connected through wifi on my T420s. It's weird because the wifi shows that I am still connected with full signal, but the connection is not working. I think it may be happening when I wake from sleep or hibernate. Disconnecting/reconnecting, turning wifi off via windows and via the physical switch all do not work. The only solution it seems is a full reboot.

    anyone have these problems?
    I have the 3x3 antenna.

I have these problems a lot with ubuntu on my laptop, the drivers under linux for atheros cards are a bit lacking. And with that said, have you gone to the manufacturer's site and check for updated drivers for the wireless?

I'll take a look into that. The drivers appear to be updated through lenovo's software update tool.
