If I work 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, is the onsite warranty option useless since tech person also works between 9-5 as well?

Basically, if no one will be home to open the door for the tech person to come in and fix the laptop between 9-5 (8am-6pm considering transportation as well), then what is the point of having the onsite warranty..?

or do they work after 5pm and weekend as well?

    thanks!

They'll come to your work if you need them to.

The last few machines I've been using a local Lenovo repair center instead of sending it in or using on-site. They order the parts and you take it in and get it back in a few hours or one day.

as said can't you get them to come over to your work and do the repair? Or leave at your relative or friends house.
