    hey guys...
i just got my z61t recently, and i'm loving it. i've been having one main issue though:

it takes about a minute to check the status of the embedded security chip on bootup!

i did a full system recovery to factory default using a customized recovery with the R&R tool, but it still does that.

Is this a normal event or is there anything else I can do to fix this? i don't think it was like this the first several times i booted up, but maybe it was (i was watching 24 at the time, so i wasn't paying the closest attention during bootup)

That sounds a bit long. Do you use the security chip? If not, I think you can disable it. Have you contacted Lenovo support about this issue? They may have a solution in their database.
