    Unfortunately no, you will need a hdd with an IDE interface not the SATA.

    Western Digital Scorpion 160GB Mobile Hard Drive - 2.5" EIDE, 5400, 8MB, OEM

    Not sure what if this EIDE will fit in your IDE category.

    This 250GB WD drive is what I use on my T42's. It's the largest P-ATA (i.e. "IDE") drive that I've found.
