    finally got my t60 today, so far so good. thanks to all here who wrote reviews, asked/answered questions, etc. and good luck to those who are still waiting...

    flexview, t7200, 2gb, dvdrw, 9 cell, 1 year war., x1400

    still working on getting all the updates...wouldnt it be nice if microsoft could make it so vista can be updated by the reseller prior to shipping?

    I guess that would be convenient, but from what i've seen, many don't want Vista, just yet atleast.

    It's a terrific laptop isn't it?

    The price point completely obliterates the MBP, even with the new C2D iteration. In my case, it was around 900 usd cheaper to get mine with a 3yr international warranty, compared to getting a basic MBP WITH STUDENT DISCOUNT and extended apple care.
