    Didnt know where to put this. I thought fellow Lenovo owners could appreciate a good deal on a hard drive for your laptop. may even be able to retain shock protection through IBM software.

    i did some searching around and the unofficial word is that the drive is a seagate momemtus 7200.2. all the specs are the same and the techhnology is almost exact to the dell description. hard to tell until it arrives.
