Just curious when I will be given an approximate date for when I will recieve my computer. When I completed my order I only recieved an order number but no idea when the laptop will ship or be recieved.

Wow...really? i was wondering that question myself too since i'm planning to order a thinkpad t61 sometime within the next month

so you're saying they only take 1-2 business days to get here from the time you finish the order?? seems awfully fast shipping to me (dont they have to ship order and ship from china?)

Oh, and would it delay the shipping if i order from EPP, visa perks or some other shareholders program / offer etc.?

    thanks for responses in advanced

but at least thats great news :D

What I took from his response is in 1-2 business days I will recieve an email of some sorts giving me an approximate ship date/recieving date. However things seem to move faster than what they guess for you. Just curious what are the chances of Canadian systems shipping faster than the states? Since we cant customize and such.

yeah confirmation in 1-2 days makes more sense. btw would you mind informing me of y our estimated shipping date once you receive it?

i'm really considering to get one in early june if it'll ship before july.

somebody else's shipping date could be *very* different than yours, even if you order yours the next day. I've seen that happen. His might be in stock, then yours is not... his arrives in 2 days and yours takes 4 weeks. Happens.

The channel by which you buy has no bearing on the shipping time. It's first-come, first served.

For what it counts I just got an email estimating that it will be 3-4 weeks before it ships. I just have a few questions
1.In this email it says I have to agree to the terms of sale blah blah blah, I did this when I ordered online correct?
    2. Just curious what shipping method do they use (hopefully it is fast :p), and do you recieve some sort of notification when it is shipped?

yeah i got that email too. in it, it says:

"You accept the terms of this Agreement by clicking to accept these terms and
completing your transaction when ordering online or when ordering by telephone,
by using the Product or Service."

there's no link to click accept in the email so im guessing there was "i accept" stage as part of the online purchase (i dont remember lol). if that's the case, i think we have nothing to do but wait for the shipment.
btw, i believe its ground shipping. not sure though.

Alright cool, so I am assuming they send an email when they ship it with a tracking number and everything? Also do they ship from within Canada? Sorry for all the questions now I cant wait to get my hands on my laptop :)
