    hello,
    i have a problem on my lenovo notebook,
    then i press the U I O leters it is writing 4 5 6 numbers respectivly (same with 1 2 3 and 7 8 9)
    i know therse is a very easy way how to make him to write leters again but i just dont know it, so please can som1 guide me shoud i do.

    Someone had the similar problem and if my memory serves me correctly, it had to do something with FN. Seeing as the buttons U,I, and O on my Dell Inspiron 6400 also has a 4,5,6.. it's your FN.

    Try to hold the FN key down and type the letter or hit it and try to type the letter, whichever works.

    dosent work, i hit num lock but it's like that it dosent work, i hit caps lock - works normaly. FN key dosent help to.

    press not [numlock] alone, but [fn] + [numlock] ...
    also maybe you have external keyboard attached? deattach it then and check keys on thinkpad without it.
