its these 2 little sticks by the express card slot. at first i thought they were stylii but they dont pull out. you can push them out but they dont detach. i seriously have no clue what they do and there's no manual to provide any detail.

Those "two little sticks" are for ejecting an Express/PC card out of the slot.

    :D.

Those buttons are standard on just about every express card and PCMICIA slot. They are as said above the eject buttons. Besides what there is a manual included in the box. I got one when i bought my T60p.

Isn't there a diagram explaining all the neat stuff of the T61p?

The PC/Express Card eject buttons must not have been included in the diagram...

I'll have to find my ThinkPad box again.

Oh give me a break. They aren't doing anyone but themselves a favor by not including a good manual. Same thing with the recovery disks. And honestly - do we have to do everything on the internet now?

A little bump for a silly question:
But is it possile to have Cardbus and a express card active at the same moment.

I was thinking on a echo indigo soundcard Cardbus and wireless N Express card

I guess it doesn't fit since most of the time they have a bigger part at the outside. But any1 knows??
