    Hi,
I have a lenovo 3000 N100 laptop, now since i bought it, when ever shut down improperly ( as in, power cut, or shut down using the power button) it would be awfully slow at starup, until i made another 2 or 3 restarts would it start up again normally, now since yesterday, even though it was shut down properly it failed to start windows, it would take an eternity and would still be stuck and not responsive to anything i try to do, and, it didn't start up again normally until after 1o attemtps ( divided on 2 days), i ran the diagnosis tool (at startup, when you can press "Lenovo Care Button" and all passed, and i tried to disconnect all external hardware, i am certain that i don't have viruses on my computer. now today when i turned it off (after last time it worked), and tried to start again the problem occurred. it worked though after 3 attempts of restarting. now what can the problem be? and has anyone been confronted with this problem?

Could run HD Tune to test the hard drive. Also see what is running in the background.

did that, result is ok in HDTUNE, i already checked what's running in the background, nothing unusual and i disabled most software froms starting up at windows startup, yet that does not solve the problem. it's a weird problem. is there something else you can think of?
    thanks
p.s. the laptop is 3 months old
