i have an R400 and when i was typing up my report or essays, i accidentally pressed capslock + A + S, it made a loud system beep noise, suggesting i pressed multiple keys or something, but it doesnt make that noise with other keys.
how can i get rid of this?
or is it telling me something?

It might be Window's accessibility features. Look for ToggleKeys or StickyKeys under XP's accessiblity features. Or it is called ease of access under vista.

I think theres an option in the BIOS to disable error beeps. You should try that.

Yep, you can disable these beeps in the BIOS. You can even disable the beeps when the battery is low. Just explore the options in BIOS and you will find them.

Yes, there should be an option in the BIOS to disable certain beeps like keyboard errors or from power-state changes.
