what do you guys use to clean the LCD?

i tried a lens cloth, but i guess it was dirty cus it left smudges all over; nasty

i finally found that a new sock worked fine...doesnt release lint

and in combination with a can of air to blow away the string/dust

I use a camera/lens cloth or glasses cloth too. You just need to make sure they are clean (hand wash them with soap).

I use a microfibre cloth. I wet the cloth and wring it out then wipe the LCD, wiping in one direction. I also use the cloth to wipe down the keyboard, palmrest etc. You just need a soft cloth, nothing abrasive. Also, I wouldn't use those screen wipes on the LCD.

I've tried all the above but nothing seems to work for me as well as an old beat up, very soft damp (dampened with water only) t-shirt. Wipe very lightly with the dampened spot; wipe dry with the rest of the shirt.

If that fails, try Ajax and a steel wool pad! lol

The only thing that gets on my LCD is dust. I go berserk  if anyone touches my screen or gets fingerprints on it. I cringe when I see other people's LCD with grease spots/fingerprints all over it.
