I've got an x40 winging it's way to me (bought a refurbished unit direct from ibm - pretty good deal) - but I haven't decided on a case yet.

One idea I'm very keen on is the idea of using a nice prada / coach leather padfolio to keep the x40 in. I won't be taking it to work much, just on occasional business trips - and I think the padfolio would be a low key and lightweight to carry it around. I was wondering if anyone had tried this before or could recommend a suitable sized case?

If this fails I will probably go for a nice messenger bag.

    Hey benn,

I'm using my old Tumi ballistic briefcase for my T-42.

The briefcase like the T-42 is bullet proof! LOL [ :)]

I shopped for a while till I finally found something that fit my x40 (with extended battery). I found that a Mac 12" powerbook case was perfect.

I bought this glove from STM. And it fits perfectly. I use it as a protective cover when the laptop is being carried around in my backpack.
