Does anyone have the lenovo 3000 Y410?

Im interested in getting it and i was wondering if someone could critique its performance, build quality and looks (compared to something like dell inspiron/vostro or hp).

I think I saw someone here had the Y410. Perhaps you should consider the FAQ and post there.

There is a post here that gives a mini review of the machine. I did see one in person and was impressed with the overall quailty, build and specs.

I was seriously considering purchasing the unit but I was really in the market for a 12-13 in screen. Also I was in the market for the Santa Rosa chipset and this particular unit did not come equipped with it.

One of the drawbacks that I noticed was the silver painted finish along the bottom portition of the notebook, it looked cheap. But thats just my opinion. Other than that the rest of the machine was just fine.

The silver part on the 3000's wears off real easy.

The HD is a little noisy, but overall, it's a good build laptop :D
